Next session of EurAsEC Council of Justice Ministers to be held in Kazakhstan

The next XV session of the Council of Justice Ministers at the Integration Committee of the EurAsEC countries will be held in Kazakhstan. The decision was accepted today at XIV session of the Council of Justice Ministers of EurAsEC countries and IV Council of Justice Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), taken place on the coast of the Issyk-Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan, the agency reports citing the press secretary of the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan, Bakyt Akmoldoev.

Bishkek. October 26. Kazakhstan Today - The next XV session of the Council of Justice Ministers at the Integration Committee of the EurAsEC countries will be held in Kazakhstan. The decision was accepted today at XIV session of the Council of Justice Ministers of EurAsEC countries and IV Council of Justice Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), taken place on the coast of the Issyk-Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan, the agency reports citing the press secretary of the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan, Bakyt Akmoldoev.

According to B. Akmoldoev, the decision on creation of two interstate working groups has been made. The first group will be involved in organization of the EurAsEC Council and the second will work with the Council of Justice Ministers of the CIS countries. The working group will define the exact date of the EurAsEC session, but it is already known that the EurAsEC session will be held in the first half of the next year in Astana.

The Minister of Justice of Russia, Alexander Konovalov, made a report on the draft cooperation agreement in the sphere of maintenance of legal mutual aid and mutual information exchange. The project was considered and approved by the ministers of justice.

"Also, the session participants passed the projects of the interstate agreements: the main principles of rendering free legal aid in the EurAsEC countries, on interaction of EurAsEC ministries of justice and scientific institutions in development of recommendations regarding carrying out of scientific legal examination of the projects of international contracts, bills and legal acts."
