President of Russia to visit Kazakhstan
Almaty. October 14. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, will visit Kazakhstan on October 15-16, the agency reports citing the press service of the president of the Russian Federation.
According to the press service, "the head of the Russian Federation will visit the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the complex exercises of the Collective Rapid Response Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CRRF CSTO) in Zhambyl area of Kazakhstan."
As informed earlier, the leaders of the CSTO member states have been invited to Kazakhstan for the closing stage of Interaction-2009 exercises.
"The closing stage of the joint CRRF CSTO strategic command-staff exercises Interaction-2009 with participation of the leaders of CSTO member states will take place on October 16 at the range Matybulak in Zhambyl area," the official representative of the department, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed.
