Prime Minister of Russia in Uzbekistan to discuss cooperation in sphere of energy and transport

According to the government, "co-chairmen of bilateral inter governmental commission, Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Ivanov, and the first Vice Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Rustam Azimov, held the negotiations prior to the visit to Moscow." "Some questions of trade and economic cooperation, including in fuel and energy sector, in the sphere of transport, communication, protection of labor migrants were discussed during the negotiations. All this will be included into the agenda of the negotiations," the source informed.

The parties discussed the situation connected with recognition on August 26 by Russia of independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia after Georgian act of aggression.

"Options of further work within CIS community and the decision of Tbilisi to leave the Commonwealth will be considred during the negotiations in Tashkent," RIA Novosti informs.
