Representatives of business-circles of Astana and Czechia discussed prospects of economic cooperation

Representatives of business-circles of Astana and Czechia during the Kazakhstan-Czech enterprise forum discussed prospects and priority directions of bilateral mutually beneficial economic cooperation on Wednesday, the agency reports.

Astana. September 11. Kazakhstan Today - Representatives of business-circles of Astana and Czechia during the Kazakhstan-Czech enterprise forum discussed prospects and priority directions of bilateral mutually beneficial economic cooperation on Wednesday, the agency reports.

The Kazakhstan -Czech enterprise forum is held within the limits of a three-day official visit to Kazakhstan of the chairman of the Senate of Parliament of the Czech Republic, Premysl Sobotka. The chairman of the Senate of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, and akim of Astana, Imangali Tasmagambetov, took part in the forum.

"The agenda of the forum - signing of such important agreements as the contract on avoidance of double taxation and the contract on protection of investments," K. Tokayev noted.

"Today's business-forum will open even bigger opportunities for the companies and enterprises of two countries. He also noted that ... favorable tax climate in our country creates good opportunities for active participation of the Czech business in various projects."

In his turn, the chairman of the Senate of Parliament of the Czech Republic, Premysl Sobotka, noted: Kazakhstan - the country with much potential and is rich in raw materials, therefore it is a good country for cooperation.
