Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan to create 'green auto corridors' for border crossing

Almaty. May 13. Kazakhstan Today - 'Automobile green corridors' will be created for border crossing in the automobiles registered in the Customs Union countries: Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The Customs Code, uniform for these countries, will come into force on July 1, the agency reports citing Vesti FM.

'Green corridors' will be only for the Customs Union members. The main advantage of such corridors - less time for the official paper registration, which means faster border crossing," the chief of PR Department of the Federal Customs Service, Dmitry Kotikov, informed.

"When the Customs Code of the Customs Union comes into force, it will not be necessary to declare the automobiles registered in the territory of the Customs Union at the moment of crossing of an automobile check point," D. Kotikov explained.
