Russian Federation, Kazakhstan agreed to expand cooperation in struggle against international terrorism

Russia and Kazakhstan agreed to expand cooperation in struggle against international terrorism, organized crime and extremism, the joint statement of the leaders of two states - the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed on Thursday in Astana states.

Kazakhstan Today - Russia and Kazakhstan agreed to expand cooperation in struggle against international terrorism, organized crime and extremism, the joint statement of the leaders of two states - the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed on Thursday in Astana states.

"Russia and Kazakhstan will constantly deepen interaction in struggle against international terrorism, transnational organized crime, illegal circulation of drugs and weapons, and counteraction to spread of all forms of extremism," the document informs.

The Presidents have confirmed determination to stop on the territories of their states any forms of discrimination and activity of persons directed at sowing of the seeds of interethnic discord and instigation to violence towards citizens due to their national belonging.
