Session on counteraction to drug trafficking of CSTO member states to be held in Kyrgyzstan

The session of the Coordination Council of chairmen of competent bodies for counteraction drug trafficking of the member states of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held on September 10, 2009 in Kyrgyzstan, the agency reports citing the CSTO Secretariat press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The session of the Coordination Council of chairmen of competent bodies for counteraction drug trafficking of the member states of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held on September 10, 2009 in Kyrgyzstan, the agency reports citing the CSTO Secretariat press service.

"The session participants will discuss the questions of putting into operation of the uniform databank concerning circulation of drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors and counteraction to illegal drug circulation; preparation of joint events against transnational criminal drug-related groups and their leaders during the operation Channel, and coordination of the mechanism of participation of divisions of financial investigation of the member states of the Eurasian group on counteraction to financing of terrorism and legalization (money laundering) of the income received in criminal way," CSTO Assistant Secretary General, Valery Semerikov, informed.
