Kazakhstan government allocated 4.7 bln KZT for presidential elections

The Kazakhstan government has allocated from the state reserve 7 706 bln KZT for the upcoming presidential elections, Kazakhstan Today reports.

Astana. February 21. Kazakhstan Today - The Kazakhstan government has allocated from the state reserve 7 706 bln KZT for the upcoming presidential elections, Kazakhstan Today reports.

The chairman of the Central Election Commission Kuandyk Turganov informed at the session on organization and holding of the presidential elections today.

"The funds required for the elections have increased by 1 bln 697 mln KZT as compared to 2005. It has been due to the increase of expenditures to finance the election commissions activities," he added.
