Kazakhstan government raises minimum retail price for cigarettes with filters

Almaty. April 6. Kazakhstan Today - The government's order of Kazakhstan of March 19, 2010 №219 increases the minimum retail price for cigarettes with filters, the agency reports citing the decree published today in official mass media.

In particular, the price of a package of cigarettes of 45 up to 85 millimeters in length increases from 40 up to 60 KZT. The price of cigarettes of 87.1 up to 160 millimeters in length increases from 50 up to 70 KZT for a package.

The order will come into force after 20 calendar days from the date of its first official publication.
