Kazakhstan, Russia to realize invest projects in fuel and energy sector - Khristenko

Kazakhstan and Russia carry out transition from barter operations to realization of investment projects in fuel and energy sector within trade and economic cooperation. The Minister of Industry and Energy of Russian Federation Victor Khristenko said during the meeting with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov on Wednesday, the agency reports referring to the government's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and Russia carry out transition from barter operations to realization of investment projects in fuel and energy sector within trade and economic cooperation. The Minister of Industry and Energy of Russian Federation Victor Khristenko said during the meeting with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov on Wednesday, the agency reports referring to the government's press service.

According to the press service, during negotiations the parties discussed issues of bilateral Kazakhstan-Russian collaboration in fuel and energy complex.

V. Khristenko informed the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan on the course of the work over intergovernmental cooperation agreement in the field of extraction and transportation of oil.

The intergovernmental commission has been charged to develop the document that will include all joint projects on transportation of oil and estimation of extraction in different regions of Kazakhstan and Russia," V. Khristenko informed.

"Upon completion of the meeting K. Masimov expressed confidence that all conditions for further development of political and trade and economic collaboration between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Russian Federation have been created due to cooperation of governments of two countries," government's press release informs.
