Masimov suggested reorienting flow of Kazakhstan oil going through Batumi port of Georgia to domestic market

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, suggested reorienting flow of the Kazakhstan oil going through Batumi port of Georgia, to the internal market for local consumption. He informed on his proposal today during the government meeting, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, suggested reorienting flow of the Kazakhstan oil going through Batumi port of Georgia, to the internal market for local consumption. He informed on his proposal today during the government meeting, the agency reports.

Earlier, during the meeting the chairman of JSC Company KazMunayGas informed that "as of today's morning no hostile actions have been undertaken in the Batumi port and oil terminal owned by Kazakhstan.

According to S. Burkitbayev, since today's morning, "by the order of the military authorities we have withdrawn all dry-cargo ships and tankers from water area of the port."
