President signed amendments to Law on State Purchases

The head of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on amendments and additions to the Law of Kazakhstan on State Purchases directed at improvement of the procedure of state purchases of goods, works and services necessary for realization of the anti-recessionary measures, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Astana. May 5. Kazakhstan Today - The head of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on amendments and additions to the Law of Kazakhstan on State Purchases directed at improvement of the procedure of state purchases of goods, works and services necessary for realization of the anti-recessionary measures, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

The text of the law is published in press.

As informed earlier, "the main purpose of the law is improvement of the legislation of Kazakhstan concerning state purchases in regards to their transparency and efficiency of their realization through development of electronic state purchases and elimination of contradictions, flaws and elimination of corruption norms revealed in the legislative practice," the Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan, Bolat Zhamishev, explained.
