Priorities of Kazakhstan presidency in OSCE to be developed within state program Way to Europe - President

Priorities of Kazakhstan presidency in the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) will be developed within the limits of the state program Way to Europe. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said during the second parliamentary session of the fourth convocation on Tuesday, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - Priorities of Kazakhstan presidency in the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) will be developed within the limits of the state program Way to Europe. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said during the second parliamentary session of the fourth convocation on Tuesday, the agency reports.

The purpose of the program - raising the level of strategic partnership with the European countries in all aspects: trade and economic sphere, innovative technologies, energy, transport, technical regulation, development of small and medium business, quality of life, and humanitarian measurement.

"All state bodies will be involved in this work," the leader of the state explained. Realization of this state program should become one of the priorities in activity of the government and the Parliament for the nearest 2009 - 2011," N. Nazarbayev emphasized.

The President reminded that Kazakhstan will begin the work in three OSCE since January, 2009. "We have already begun preparation work for presidency in the organization," N. Nazarbayev noted.

"A lot of work has been done. I have signed the decree on opening of permanent mission of Kazakhstan at OSCE in Vienna, special department on cooperation with OSCE has been created in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, employees of the state bodies are undergoing training in OSCE member countries," the leader of the state said.
