Rising Interest in Kazakhstan’s Foreign Policy Seen Among Pakistani Students

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in cooperation with Farhat Asif and Muhammad Asif Noor, Chairpersons of the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies and the "Diplomatic Insight" group, held a traditional annual seminar for participants of the 6th International Young Diplomats School, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.

The event brought together young professionals and students from various educational institutions across Pakistan studying international relations, law, public administration, and public policy.

During the seminar, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the current state and future prospects of Kazakhstan-Pakistan relations. In his remarks, the Ambassador highlighted the high level of political dialogue between the two countries and placed particular emphasis on the development of trade and economic cooperation, transport and logistics connectivity, and collaboration in the field of education.

The Ambassador underscored the importance of the academic dimension of bilateral relations, including cooperation between universities, expert communities, as well as youth and sports organizations.

Participants demonstrated strong interest in Kazakhstan’s foreign policy priorities, regional cooperation, and the country’s role in strengthening connectivity between Central and South Asia.
