Detoxication of two sites of Proton-M rocket crash completed

Astana. September 21. Kazakhstan Today - Detoxication of two sites of Proton-M rocket crash has been completed, the Kazakhstan Emergency Ministry informed the agency.

According to the Emergency Ministry, detoxication of two sites of the top part of the booster block Breeze-M and the parts of transitive compartment crash and the repeated detoxication in the area of the booster block (small crater) have been completed.

As it was informed earlier, on September 6, after unsuccessful launch from the cosmodrome Baikonur the booster rocket Proton-M crashed on the territory of Ulytau, the Karaganda oblast, in 40 kilometers to the south-west from the city Zhezkazgan. In total, from the moment of the crash the search group that includes the representatives of the Ministry of Emergency of Kazakhstan and its structural divisions, the National Space Agency with participation of the representatives of the Russian party has carried out ten flights of the places of possible crash of the booster rocket. The general extent of the flight route of the territory made 3500 kilometers. 1743 square kilometers of the territory have been inspected.
