First case of influenza A (H1N1) virus registered in Almaty

The first case of the influenza A (H1N1) virus has been registered in Almaty, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan. 14 cases of the disease of the influenza have been registered in Kazakhstan for the period of July, 23 -27.

"14 cases of the disease of the influenza have been registered in Kazakhstan for the period of July, 23 -27. 11 - children from the international college who were in Great Britain, one child who was in Great Britain with his father, one citizen of Germany arrived in Kazakhstan for Sunday school in Schuchinsk and one citizen of Almaty who came back from Spain," the press service informed.

13 cases of the disease of the influenza A (H1N1) have been registered, as of morning of July 28. According to the Minister of Health of Kazakhstan, Zhaksylyk Doskaliev, eight people have been already removed from quarantine. The others will be removed from quarantine by the end of this week.
