Kazakh Foreign Ministry to introduce assessment of intergovernmental commissions performance

Astana. February 21. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan plans to introduce the assessment of the performance of the intergovernmental commissions. The Kazakh FM Marat Tazhin informed on Tuesday at the government session, the agency reports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to introduce the practice of "assessments of the work of each body and to bring the corresponding information to the notice of the country leaders - the President and the Prime Minister."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic is also planning to strengthen the control over preparation for signing bilateral and multilateral international agreements and their realization. "The pragmatic approach should predominate in the development of contractual-legal base corresponding to the long-term interests of the state," the Minister emphasized.

M. Tazhin considers it necessary to conduct solid analysis of practical feedback in the sphere of development of inter-regional relations.

The Minister also suggested introducing the practice of carrying out of coordinating meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to study organizational questions of foreign visits of the country leaders.
