Kazakhstan army to be transferred to automated armies control system till 2014

Defense Research Center (DRC), Azhmat Alimov, informed at the press conference the Kazakhstan army will be completely transferred to the automated armies control system till 2014, the agency reports.

Astana. January 27. Kazakhstan Today - Director of Open Company - Defense Research Center (DRC), Azhmat Alimov, informed at the press conference the Kazakhstan army will be completely transferred to the automated armies control system till 2014, the agency reports.

"Kazakhstan army will be transferred to the automated system till 2014. The essence of creation of the information system management of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan consists in providing mobility of our army with application of new information technologies. Some are creating the so-called digital army, i.e. equipped with digital tools of data transmission. As of today, 80 % of the transport environment - communication - is analog. All forces and troops will communicate between one another in the real time mode," the chief of Central Administrative Department of Information and Communication of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, Amandos Suranchiev, said.
