Kazakhstan suggests developing Global energy ecological strategy
United Nations. September 26. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan suggests developing, within the limits of the United Nations, Global energy ecological strategy. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stated in New York during the debate of the 62nd session of the UN General Assembly.
"It is expedient to develop Global energy ecological strategy and to discuss it at the World summit for steady development in 2012 within the limits of the United Nations," N. Nazarbayev stated.
In his opinion, the most urgent issues for the world community today are "strengthening of global energy crisis and growing threat of adverse climatic changes on the planet." "We share concern in these problems of the leaders of Group 8 and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)," the President noted.
