Launch of satellites GlobalStar planned for October 21 from Baikonur

Simultaneously in the assembly-test case of platform №112 assembly of the stages of the carrier rocket Soyuz-FG has come to the end, electric checks are being conducted in the rocket.

General assembling of the carrier rocket Soyuz-FG with a head part with satellites GlobalStar the established in it has been planned for October 18. On October 19 the rocket Soyuz-FG will be placed on the launch platform №31 for pre-starting preparation.

Earlier, Soyuz-FG with the space ship GlobalStar was launched from Baikonur in May, 2007.

The launch from platform of №31 of the carrier rocket Soyuz-FG with the booster block Frigate and 4 telecommunication satellites GlobalStar have been planned for October 21 at 2.12 a.m. Astana time (00.12 a.m. Moscow time).
