Level of early diagnosis of oncological diseases in Kazakhstan increased

The level of the early diagnosis of oncological diseases in Kazakhstan has sharply increased. Responsible Secretary of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, Bolat Sadykov, said at a press conference within the anniversary international scientifically-practical conference 'Achievements and prospects of development of modern oncology and radiology', the agency reports.

Almaty. November 12. Kazakhstan Today - The level of the early diagnosis of oncological diseases in Kazakhstan has sharply increased. Responsible Secretary of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, Bolat Sadykov, said at a press conference within the anniversary international scientifically-practical conference 'Achievements and prospects of development of modern oncology and radiology', the agency reports.

"In Kazakhstan, death rate due to oncology diseases annually decreases and oncology disease rate annually decreases. The most important indicator - we have significantly increased the level of early diagnosis of oncological diseases. Early diagnosis of oncological diseases is already half of success in treatment of oncological patients," B. Sadykov underlined.

"Early diagnosis is the basis of treatment of oncological diseases". "The earlier we reveal the disease, the more successful treatment of this patient will be. In 2001, we revealed only 30 % of early-stage patients. This year, we have already diagnosed 47 % early-stage patients.
