OSCE Center main office relocated from Almaty to Astana

Astana. June 25. Kazakhstan Today - The headquarter of the Center of the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Kazakhstan has been relocated from Almaty to Astana, the Center press service informed the agency.

The OSCE Permanent Council defined on June 21, 2007 new mandate and changed the name of the OSCE Center in Almaty to the OSCE Center in Astana. "The new mandate, as well as previous, provides activity of the Center in all three OSCE spheres - military-political, economic, ecological and human," the message states.
