The UNDP permanent representative from Malawi state Rozelin Mahmula gave the examples of the methods to reach reduction of level of poverty. "In addition to large enterprises, there is micro business ... and one of the ways to reduce poverty in rural regions is granting micro financing to the local rural residents. Owing to the access to micro crediting, countrymen can reach higher results in economic development that will give them more opportunity to improve their economic situation ... ," she explained.

"According to the analysis of the United Nations and the statistical data, the current level of poverty in Kazakhstan reaches 18.2 %. In the Human Development Report for 2007 Kazakhstan has risen by 6 lines and now is on the 73 place among the countries of the world," Haolyan Shu emphasized.

"According to the analysis, we defined two basic reasons why it has occurred. The first - increase of income of the population and the second - increase of life expectancy in Kazakhstan," the UNDP coordinator said.
