Volume of water in Toktogul reservoir increased by 2 million cubic meters

Volume of water in the Toktogul water reservoir in Kyrgyzstan within a day increased by 2 million cubic meters, but did not reach last year's indicators, the agency reports citing the press service of JSC Power Plants.

Bishkek. May 26. Kazakhstan Today - Volume of water in the Toktogul water reservoir in Kyrgyzstan within a day increased by 2 million cubic meters, but did not reach last year's indicators, the agency reports citing the press service of JSC Power Plants.

According to the press service, on May 26, volume of accumulated water was 6 billion 772 million cubic meters, which is by 2 million cubic meters more than yesterday. According to the press service, flow of water is 650 cubic meters per second (in 2008 - 948 cubic meters), outflow - 277 cubic meters per second (in 2008 - 216 cubic meters).

According to the press service, on May 26, 2008 the Toktogul reservoir accumulated 7 billion 224 million cubic meters of water, in 2007 the figure reached 12.017 billion in 2006 - 14.407 billion.
