Creation of the Customs Union will beneficial for the economies of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, said during the session of the supreme body of the Customs Union at the level of prime ministers in St. Petersburg, the agency reports citing official mass media.

Almaty. May 21. Kazakhstan Today - Creation of the Customs Union will beneficial for the economies of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, said during the session of the supreme body of the Customs Union at the level of prime ministers in St. Petersburg, the agency reports citing official mass media.

"I am convinced and the head of our state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, repeatedly told us that, finally, the Customs Union will be beneficial for the economies, diligent businessmen of all countries - Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan," K. Masimov said.

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan said there is now a union on the post-Soviet territory, probably, for the first time in history, when the decisions are executed.

According to K. Masimov, owing to creation of the Customs Union, goods turnover between Kazakhstan and Belarus, during the first three months of 2010, has grown by practically 50 %, in comparison with the similar period of the last year.
