Export duty on oil in Russia to total $398.1 for ton since June 1 - Russian Finance Ministry

The rate of export duty on oil since June 1, 2008 will increase by $57 and will reach a new record level - $398.1 for ton. The deputy chief of Customs Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Alexander Sakovich informed, the agency reports referring to the message of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

Moscow. May 5. Kazakhstan Today - The rate of export duty on oil since June 1, 2008 will increase by $57 and will reach a new record level - $398.1 for ton. The deputy chief of Customs Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Alexander Sakovich informed, the agency reports referring to the message of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

According to A. Sakovich, average price of the Russian oil in the European markets for the monitoring period in March - April developed at the level of $102.75558 for barrel. The limited rate of the duty will make $398.15022 for ton.

According to the information of the representative of the Ministry of Finance, the duty on light mineral oil will be $280.5 for ton, dark mineral oil - $151.1 for ton.

As it was informed earlier, since April 1, 2008 size of export duty on oil in Russia has been established at the level of $340.1 for ton ($6.3). Export duty on light mineral oil makes $241.4 for ton, dark - $130.1 for ton.

Duties on export of oil and mineral oil from the Russian Federation are reconsidered by the government twice a month according to the formula on the basis of bi-monthly monitoring of the price for the Russian oil of Urals brand in the world markets.
