Kyrgyzgas owe Kazakhstan suppliers of gas $18.5 million

Debt of Kyrgyzgas Company to the Kazakhstan suppliers of natural gas makes $18.5 million. The data have been presented today at the government session with participation of the President Kyrgyzstan, Kurmanbek Bakiyev.

Bishkek. July 25. Kazakhstan Today - Debt of Kyrgyzgas Company to the Kazakhstan suppliers of natural gas makes $18.5 million. The data have been presented today at the government session with participation of the President Kyrgyzstan, Kurmanbek Bakiyev.

402 million cubic meters of natural gas, including for JSC Company Kyrgyzgas -258.4 million cubic meters have been imported by the Republic for the last months of this year. Consumers purchased 205 million cubic meters of natural gas for 6 months of 2008.

According to the Kyrgyzstan government, total loss of natural gas in 2008 made 51.6 million cubic meters or 12.8 % from receipt of natural gas. In comparison with the similar period of 2007 total loss has decreased by 0.3 %. As of July 1, 2008 accounts from consumers has made 386.6 million som and has decreased from the beginning of the year by 9.4 % or 40 million som, including: industrial enterprises - 182.4 million som (growth by 52 %), budgetary organizations - 17.9 million som (decrease by 83.2 %), the population - 186.2 million som (decrease by 6.7 %).

The largest debtor among industrial enterprises is: JSC Company Aynek - 74.9 million som (bankrupt), Mayluusuy electrolamp factory - 50.9 million som, debt of Power plant to Kyrkyzgas makes $3.4 million.
