Bishkek. July 31. Kazakhstan Today - The issue of renewal of export of meat-and-milk products from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan will be resolved in the near future. General Director of State Department of Veterinary Science of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Process Industry of Kyrgyzstan, Baimbet Murataliev, informed at the press conference on Thursday, the agency reports.

"Export of meat-and-milk products from Kyrgyzstan has been banned to those states since 2006 due to outburst of foot-and-mouth disease in Kyrgyzstan. We, since March of 2009, have carried out risk analysis and met the heads of these states to discuss the situation. We also plan to hold the meeting with the experts from Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for inspection check. We hope that after these meetings the restrictions will be lifted," B. Murataliev said.
