Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed appointed Kyzylorda oblast akim

Kyzylorda. January 12. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov introduced new Kyzylorda oblast akim Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed to the oblast staff, the agency reports.

Earlier Kyzylorda oblast was headed by Ikram Adyrbekov.

Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed was born in 1960 in the Peoples Republic of China. He graduated from Kirov Kazakh State University. He is the Doctor of Law.

In 1980th he worked as the senior scientific editor, the chairman of the editor's office, press secretary, vice editor-in-chief of the Kazakh encyclopedia. In 1992-1999 he was the director of a publishing corporation Atamura.

In 1999 - 2001, M. Kul-Mukhammed was the deputy, the secretary of the legislation committee and legal reform, the Chairman of the committee of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan for welfare development. In 2001- 2003 he worked as the Minister of Culture, Information and Public Accord of the Republic. From September 2003- March 2004 - the adviser of the President, from April till December 2004 - the press-secretary of the President of Kazakhstan. Since December 2004 until recently he combined the posts of the adviser and the press-secretary of the Kazakh President.

I. Adyrbekov was born in 1950 in Uzbekistan. Since April, 2004 until the present he was Kyzylorda oblast akim. Since 1997- 2002 he was on diplomatic service as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. Since July, 2002 I. Adyrbekov worked as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Malaysia and Philippines.
