The negative scenarios for the Kazakhstan economy have not proved to be true. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed today during session of Kazakhstan government devoted to the results of the first half of the year, the agency reports.

Astana. August 19. Kazakhstan Today - The negative scenarios for the Kazakhstan economy have not proved to be true. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed today during session of Kazakhstan government devoted to the results of the first half of the year, the agency reports.

"Those negative scenarios, forecasted by many analysts in the beginning of year, have not come true. Moreover, in March - April, there was a turning point in the economy. There have been grwoth of the economy in the second quarter in relation to the first," K. Masimov noted.

"I consider that that model of devaluation carried out by the National Bank proved to be correct in comparison with other models carried out on the post-Soviet territory."

"The financial system has stabilized. The results show that people have not lost trust to the banking system," he underlined.
