Oil, gas condensate extraction to reach 64 million tons

Almaty. October 6, Kazakhstan Today - Volume of oil and gas condensate extraction is supposed to reach the level of 64 million tons in 2008 - 70 million tons, in 2009 - 78 million tons, in 2010 - 84 million tons in Kazakhstan in 2007, Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bolat Akchulakov informed at the seminar on power cooperation of the Asian Dialogue of Cooperation member states. In 2005 Kazakhstan extracted 61.65 million tons of oil and gas condensate, in the first half of 2006 - 31.2 million tons of oil and gas condensate. Up to the end of 2006 it is planned to extract 62.5 million tons.

The stocks of hydrocarbon raw material across Kazakhstan, including land, make 4.8 billion tons (35 billion barrels) oil, 3.4 bln. cubic metre of gas.
