Russia renewed oil deliveries to Kazakhstan

Astana. February 8. Kazakhstan Today - Deliveries of the Russian oil to Kazakhstan, suspended since February 1 in connection with an ambiguity in application of export duties rates for oil and mineral oil delivered to Kazakhstan, have been renewed on February 5, 2010. JSC National Company KazMunaiGas message published on the official site of the company states.

According to KazMunaiGas, suppliers have received an official explanation of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of the Russian Federation about "non-use of export duties rates for oil and mineral oil in Kazakhstan."

The telegram of February 4, addressed to the regional FCS, states that it is necessary to consider the former decision on application of duties void.

According to the market participants, the situation with deliveries on Friday has been stabilized: export parties at the border of Russia and Kazakhstan pass customs registration in the usual regime. In particular, the work at the Pavlodar petrochemical factory, which completely depends on the Russian raw materials, has been renewed.
