State budget expenditures to decrease up to 25 % in 2007

Astana. August 1. Kazakhstan Today - According to Kazakh government forecast the state budget expenditures in relation to GDP in 2007 will decrease up to 25%, in 2008 - up to 24%, in 2009 - up to 23.2%. The Cabinet of Ministers decree On Medium-Term Fiscal Policy of Kazakh Government in 2007 - 2009 states, the agency reports.

The decrease of the rates of nominal growth of the state budget expenditures is expected in 2007 - 2009, which will be below rates of nominal GDP growth. Average GDP growth rate of the budget expenditure is expected to be at the level of 114.3% and the rate of GDP growth - 114.5% to GDP," the government decree states.
