Systemic plans on tourism development to give impetus for sector's development - KTA

The Kazakhstan Industry Development Institute of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies works on development of systemic plans specifying preferences and privileges, investment climate of Kazakhstan will be legally changed in order to develop tourism in the country.

Almaty. September 14. Kazakhstan Today - The Kazakhstan Industry Development Institute of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies works on development of systemic plans specifying preferences and privileges, investment climate of Kazakhstan will be legally changed in order to develop tourism in the country, Kazakhstan Today reports.

Systemic plans on tourism development that are elaborated in Kazakhstan will help to improve investment climate for development of the tourism sector, President of the Kazakhstan Tourism Association Roza Asanbayeva said in an interview for the Prime Minister's official website.

"The Kazakhstan Industry Development Institute of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies works on development of systemic plans specifying preferences and privileges, investment climate of Kazakhstan will be legally changed in order to develop tourism in the country," R. Asanbayeva said at the Kazakh-Vietnamese business forum.

According to the Head of the Association, the plans will give an impetus for development of eco-tourism in Mangystau, Akmola, East Kazakhstan and Almaty regions. These documents will define measures of government regulation and government support of the tourism sector, in particular, tax preferences for investors and owners of touristic facilities with subsidization of expenditures.

Besides, Roza Asanbayeva emphasized that a direct flight between Kazakhstan and Vietnam was established within the framework of tourism development.

As the Kazakhstan Tourism Association informs, 1650 touristic companies and 1600 enterprises representing hotel business function in Kazakhstan.
