Verdicts on mass HIV infection of children case to be pronounced in July

Shymkent. May 31. Kazakhstan Today - Verdict on the case of mass HIV infection of the South Kazakhstan children can be pronounced in July, the agency reports.

As it was informed earlier, the judicial session on the case of mass HIV infection of children has been taking place since January 19 in Shymkent. The charges were brought against 21 people.

All participants of the criminal process have been interrogated.

The court examined the materials of the case. Video materials of the case were viewed during the session. The study of the materials of the criminal case on mass HIV infection of children is finished. Since tomorrow, the court starts the debate of the parties. First, the representatives of the accusation will be heard.

As of today, there are 111 HIV positive children (nine died, one has been adopted and left abroad) and 14 HIV positive mothers in the South Kazakhstan.
