Wheat stock quotes decrease

The prices for wheat at the Chicago commodity exchange have been steadily falling for the fourth week successively as buyers prefer cheaper deliveries than wheat from the USA, the world's largest exporter, the agency reports citing electronic information publication BusinessWeek.

Kazakhstan Today - The prices for wheat at the Chicago commodity exchange have been steadily falling for the fourth week successively as buyers prefer cheaper deliveries than wheat from the USA, the world's largest exporter, the agency reports citing electronic information publication BusinessWeek.

Egypt, on February 4, informed that it bought 240 thousand tons of wheat in Russia, France and Kazakhstan at the price of $174.90 for metric ton. According to the US Department for Agriculture, wheat exported from the New Orleans ports for sale on February 4 was sold at $184.91 per ton. Future transactions of wheat in Chicago have fallen down to 13 percent this year.

Wheat futures with delivery in March at the Chicago commodity exchange have fallen down to 2.5 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $4.7325 per bushel, having decreased by 0.2 percent for a week and by 16 percent in comparison with the last year.
