President Tokayev suggests holding Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum on Aug 20

During the talks in the restricted attendance held in Astana, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has proposed holding the next Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum on August 20 in Omsk, Qazinform News Agency reports.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that despite global challenges, Kazakhstan-Russia cooperation continues to develop successfully, particularly in the economic sphere.

He highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between regions of Kazakhstan and Russia.

The President suggested that the forum, a long-standing tradition, be scheduled for August 20 in Omsk.
