The border of China and Kyrgyzstan hit 5.5 magnitude earthquake, the agency reports citing Xinhua.

Almaty. April 20. Kazakhstan Today - The border of China and Kyrgyzstan hit 5.5 magnitude earthquake, the agency reports citing Xinhua.

According to the State Seismological Service of the Peoples Republic of China, 5.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale hit the district Akchy of the Kyzylsu-Kyrgyz autonomous region on April, 19th at 12.08 Beijing time. The hypocentre of the earthquake was at the depth of approximately 7 kilometers.

According to the press service of the Emergency Ministry of Kazakhstan, 3-4 magnitude tremors on МSК-64 scale were felt in Almaty at 10.08 local time.
