The average magnitude earthquake was registered on August 1 at 07.29 local time on the territory of Zhalalabad oblast of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency of Kyrgyzstan, the earthquake magnitude in the epicenter reached 5 points.

According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, the epicenter was on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, in 45 kilometers to the southeast from village Kerben, in 35 kilometers to the northwest from the city of Tashkumyr, and in 60 kilometers to the northwest from the city of Majluusuu.

The earthquake was felt in village Kerben - 4 points, the city of Tashkumyr - 3 points, and the city of Majluusuu - 2.5 points.

According to the preliminary information of the Ministry of Emergency of Kyrgyzstan, there are neither victims nor destructions.
