Demarcation of Kazakhstan-Russian state border planned for May 18

Astana. April 28. Kazakhstan Today - XII session of the joint Kazakhstan-Russian commission concerning demarcation of state frontiers took place on April, 20-24th in Almaty, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

"The parties have continued the work on defining the sites for frontier signs and confirmed mutual readiness to start demarcation works on May, 18th of 2009," the press service informed.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the next session of the joint Kazakhstan-Russian demarcation commission will take place in May, 2009 in Kazakhstan.
