First Kazakhstan's pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia

This year, Saudi Arabia has allocated quotas for Kazakhstan citizens for 3000 pilgrims.
The first flight out of seven planned by SCAT airlines to carry Kazakhstan's pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the hajj has taken place. The Civil Aviation Committee informed on Facebook.

According to the report, the DV 5073 flight on the route of Shymkent - Jeddah run at 06.44am (local time) on the Boeing 737-700 aircraft with 149 Kazakhstan pilgrims on the board. The aircraft successfully landed in the Airport of Jiddah at 11.15am (ALMT).

A return flight of these pilgrims is planned on August 27 of the present year from Medina to Shymkent.

We note that the next flight of SCAT to carry Kazakhstan's pilgrims to Saudi Arabia is planned today at 06:00pm (local time) on the route Almaty - Jiddah on Boeing 767-300. The passengers of the second flight will return on August 30 from Medina to Almaty.

In total, SCAT will run 7 flights to Saudi Arabia and 7 return flight with Kazakhstan's pilgrims.

We note that in the present year Saudi Arabia has allocated quotas for Kazakhstan citizens for 3000 pilgrims. They will be carried to Jiddah and Medina by 2 airlines (SCAT, Flynas) from Almaty, Astana, Aktau and Shymkent.
