Kazakhstan, China discussed strengthening of bilateral cooperation

The chairman of the Senate of Parliament, a member of the Bureau of the Political Council of the People's Democratic Party Nur Otan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, and the delegation of the Communist Party of the Chinese National Republic, taking part in the work of the Fifth General Assembly of the International Conference of the Asian Political Parties, exchanged opinions concerning further strengthening of mutual relations between Kazakhstan and the Peoples Republic of China, the agency reports citing the press service of the Senate of Parliament.

Almaty. September 28. Kazakhstan Today - The chairman of the Senate of Parliament, a member of the Bureau of the Political Council of the People's Democratic Party Nur Otan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, and the delegation of the Communist Party of the Chinese National Republic, taking part in the work of the Fifth General Assembly of the International Conference of the Asian Political Parties, exchanged opinions concerning further strengthening of mutual relations between Kazakhstan and the Peoples Republic of China, the agency reports citing the press service of the Senate of Parliament.

"According to K. Tokayev, thanks to frequent contacts at high level, both countries have created the strong basis for bilateral cooperation and successful interaction within the international organizations: the United Nations Organization (UN), Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)," the press service informed.

According to the press service, the Speaker noted an importance of a parliamentary component in strengthening of the interstate relations and passed on the best regards to the chairman of the Standing Committee of All-China Assembly of National Representatives, U Bango.

According to the press service, the officials also discussed the questions of overcoming of the world financial crisis.
