Kazakhstan delegation to take part in OSCE Human Dimension Meeting

Kazakhstan delegation will take part in the annual OSCE Human Dimension Meeting, which will pass in Warsaw on September 28 - October 9. The official representative of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed at today's briefing in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agency reports.

"The delegations of the member states of the organization, NGO representatives in the sphere of democratization and human rights, and the academic circles will take part in the next annual OSCE Human Dimension Meeting," Y. Ashikbayev said. "The delegation of our country will be headed by the special envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Madina Dzharbusynova," the diplomat informed.

"During the forum, its participants will discuss the questions of transparency, freedom of religious beliefs, rule of law, tolerance in the society, overcoming of racial discrimination, struggle against human trafficking, illegal migration, gender equality, and prevention of tortures.

"Kazakhstan plans to hold the session on freedom of worship and present the National Plan of Action of Human Rights of Kazakhstan for 2009 - 2012," Y. Ashikbayev informed.
