Kazakhstan established simplified visa mode with nine EU states

Kazakhstan has simplified visa mode with nine EU states and Sultanate of Oman. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed today during weekly briefing, the agency reports.

Astana. May 25. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan has established simplified visa mode with nine EU states and Sultanate of Oman. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed today during weekly briefing, the agency reports.

According to Y. Ashikbayev, the amendments and additions to the agreement on the order of issue of entry visas to the Republic of Kazakhstan of May, 19th came into force. "According to them, nine European Union member states have been included to the list of countries with simplified visa modes: the Czech Republic, Romania, the Republic of Bulgaria, Malta, Cyprus, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Sultanate of Oman, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.

Earlier, the simplified visa procedure was established with 35 foreign states. After introduction of the amendments, all citizens of the EU member states will be able to receive visas of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the simplified order.

Y. Ashikbayev, the simplified procedure for double-entry tourist visas valid for two months will be available for citizens of 45 foreign states.
