Kazakhstan, France signed a number of agreements for the sum of $6 billion

Kazakhstan and France signed a number of documents and agreements for the sum of about $6 billion. The chairman of Investments Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Timur Nurashev, informed in the interview to journalists during Kazakhstan-France business forum, the agency reports.

Astana. October 6. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and France signed a number of documents and agreements for the sum of about $6 billion. The chairman of Investments Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Timur Nurashev, informed in the interview to journalists during Kazakhstan-France business forum, the agency reports.

"The officials signed the agreements, memoranda, and contracts for the sum of almost $6 billion. The French investments have amounted to $1.8 billion," T. Nurashev informed.

12 agreements were signed during the business forum. The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, JSC Kazakhstan Engineering, and Thales Group signed the agreement on intentions of development of the new communication and army automated management technologies at the joint venture Tales Kazakhstan Engineering.
