Kazakhstan, Korea to develop joint projects in energy and natural resources development
Astana. May 13. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and Korea plan to develop joint projects in the field of energy and natural resources development. The joint statement of the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Korea accepted today in Astana states, the agency reports.
"Realizing that energy cooperation is one of the major segments of bilateral economic cooperation, the parties agreed to work on the joint projects in the field of energy and natural resources development."
The parties expressed hope for expansion of cooperation on investigation and development of hydrocarbonic raw materials within the limits of realization of joint oil-and-gas projects and cooperation in uranium area on the basis of the long-term contract on delivery of uranium concentrates signed in May, 2008.
