OSCE budget for 2009 to be 158 million euro
Almaty. April 6. Kazakhstan Today - The OSCE budget for 2009 will total 158 676 700 euros. The budget was approved on April, 2nd at the session of the OSCE Permanent Council, the agency reports citing the Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna.
"Acceptance of the budget will allow us to be focused on the basic work on promotion of the dialogue and cooperation for establishment and maintenance of stability, prosperity and democracy," the chairman of Permanent Council, the Ambassador of Greece, Mara Marinaki said.
"Kazakhstan within the limits of its presidency in OSCE will supervise the work on formation of the budget of the organization starting on October, 2009," the message states.
