Pakistan diplomat encourages activization of trade with Kazakhstan

The Ambassador of Pakistan to Kazakhstan said that Pakistan may benefit from cooperation with Kazakhstan, with the country with possibilities for high revenue business. The Ambassador delivered his speech at the session of the Commercial and Industrial Chamber in Lahore (LCCI) on Wednesday, February 3. LCCI Senior Vice President, Ejaz A Mumtaz, Acting President Faisal Iqbal Sheikh, and ex-Senior Vice President, Faruk Iftihar, took part in the session as well.

The Ambassador noted that Pakistan businessmen have an opportunity to export spare parts, furniture, ready-to-wear clothes, artificial jewellry, stationery, confectionery products, marble tile, coverlets, fresh fruit, vegetables and food-processing industry products.

He said that two countries could cooperate in the banking sector, nonferrous metallurgy, ferrous metallurgy, chemical and petrochemical branches. Pakistan could help with creation of the banking system of Kazakhstan, which needs many improvements.
