President of Russia suggested other CIS non-EurAsEC states joining Anti-Crisis Fund

The President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, at the session of the Council of CIS State Leaders in Kishinev offered the leaders of the other CIS non-EurAsEC countries to join the Anti-Crisis Fund. The chairman of the CIS Executive Committee - the Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth, Sergey Lebedev, informed at the press conference, following the results of the CIS summit on Friday, the agency reports citing RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

Kazakhstan Today - The President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, at the session of the Council of CIS State Leaders in Kishinev offered the leaders of the other CIS non-EurAsEC countries to join the Anti-Crisis Fund. The chairman of the CIS Executive Committee - the Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth, Sergey Lebedev, informed at the press conference, following the results of the CIS summit on Friday, the agency reports citing RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

"S. Lebedev said that the Russian leader spoke for granting of sovereign loans and stabilization credits from the fund to the CIS non-EurAsEC countries."

The chairman of the CIS Executive Committee said, "During the summit, D. Medvedev had assigned the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, Alexey Kudrin, to work on this issue."

S. Lebedev specified that the volume of the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund is $10 billion. $7.5 billion - Russia's contribution and Kazakhstan's - $1 billion. The CIS includes 11 countries. Only five countries participate in the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund.
