Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Vice Prime Minister of Belarus discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held the meeting with Vice Prime Minister of Belorussia, Ivan Bambiza on Thursday, the agency reports referring to prime minister's press service.

Astana. September 26. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held the meeting with Vice Prime Minister of Belorussia, Ivan Bambiza on Thursday, the agency reports referring to prime minister's press service.

According to the press service, the interlocutors discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation and informed about qualitative transition of economic mutual relations of Kazakhstan and Belarus from goods exchange operations to realization of investment projects in various branches of economy.

I. Bambiza informed the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan on the course of the 5th session of the intergovernmental commission. He informed that the commission starts development of a long-term bilateral agreement on cooperation until 2016 and a 2-year plan of measures on its realization.

"Bilateral Kazakhstan-Belorussian economic relations, in my opinion, have a more potential, still not used to the full," K. Masimov said during discussion of questions of intensive developments of trade and economic cooperation.

"In the end of the meeting the Prime Minister expressed confidence that as a result of cooperation of the governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Belorussia all conditions for further development of cooperation in trade and economic, research and cultural spheres have been created," the press service informs.
